Rosemary H. (Socak) Levine

Rosemary H. Levine, 84, of Youngstown, passed away on June 25, 2016 at 11:03 a.m. after a brief illness at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Rosemary was born on March 26, 1932 to the late Martin and Anna Scrbek Socak and was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.

She served for many years as Vice President of O.E.M. Bearing Co. in Garland, Texas, which afforded her the opportunity for world travel. 

A great lover of animals, Rosemary later helped operate a horse farm in Simpsonville, Kentucky where she and her husband, Earl, bred and races thoroughbreds.

Rosemary is survived by her devoted husband, Earl Levine, and beloved dogs Skippy and Maddy.  She also leaves two sisters, Dorothy Trafan of Howland and Maryann Vandetti of Youngstown as well as many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Besides her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by a sister Joanne Beshara and brothers Joseph, Paul and Robert Socak.

There will be no calling hours or services observed.
