John M. Cooper, 91 of Warren, entered into eternal life peacefully in his sleep on the early morning of June 6, 2016.

John was born on October 20, 1924 in Wellsville, NY.

John enlisted into the United States Army on April 5, 1943 and served his country during World War II as a pilot.  He was awarded the American Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal and was honorably discharged on March 21, 1946 with the rank of First Officer.

John worked for Packard Electric for over 30 years retiring in 1989.  He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing pool and was an avid outdoorsmen.  John was a member of the Moose in Warren.

John is survived by his daughter Melissa M. Cooper (Richard McAllise) with whom he made his home.

Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife Mari R. (Radu) Cooper and two brothers Rudolph and Richard Cooper.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home, where a funeral procession will leave from the funeral home immediately following for Pineview Memorial Park for committal services.

Burial will take place next to his wife in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
