Ruth Ileen Brzezinski, 81

     Newtown Falls: There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at Saint John Paul II Church, 420 North Street N.W. in Warren with Father Christopher Henyk officiating for Ruth Ileen, Brzezinski, 81 who passed away at her home on Sunday, November 11, 2018 with her loving family by her side. 

     Ruth was born December 13, 1936, in Alma, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Danie and Waunita (Straight) Tennant. 

     She graduated from James A. Garfield High School, Garrettsville, Ohio in 1954 and moved to the Warren area.  She worked for Ohio Lamp for several years and was a homemaker.

     Ruth leaves behind to hold onto her precious memories a son, Bruce D. Brzezinski of Newton Falls; her sister, Irma J. (Bill) Novotny of Newton Falls; a brother, Ronald (Janet) Tennant of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

     Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Leonard L. Brzezinski, whom she married on July 6, 1957, died February 26, 2005; a daughter, Denise K. Brzezinski and a brother, Robert K. Tennant.     

     Ruth had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, was an avid sports fan, always cheering on her favorite team, the Cleveland Indians and listening to music.  She also loved and adored spending time with family and friends and cooking.   

     Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:45 am at Saint John Paul II Church in Warren, with funeral service to follow.

     Burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Warren Family Mission, 155 Tod Avenue, Warren, Ohio  44485 or to Saint Joseph Indian School, P.O. Box 326 Chamberlain, South Dakota 57326, in memory of Ruth. 

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Sinchak & Kaszowski Funeral Home, 727 E. Market St. Warren.
