Marie E. (Fedarko) Sech

Howland – Marie E. Sech, 77, of Howland, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, October 24, 2018 with her loving family by her side. 

Marie will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends.

She was born September 22, 1941 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Daniel and Genevieve (Bellan) Fedarko.

Marie was employed for over 42 years with General Electric-Ohio Lamp Plant as an operator along with being a proud homemaker.

Marie had many passions throughout her life, but she especially loved just spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Her husband Arthur L. Sech whom she married September 20, 1980 died April 22, 2016.

She leaves behind to hold onto her precious memories a son Harry D. Nobbs of the Philippine Islands, four grandchildren Jeffrey Brainard, Cody Nobbs, Taylor Nobbs, and Danica Trasuna Nobbs, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Patricia Zumerling of Champion and Donna (Robert) Zahler of Howland along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be a private Christian Burial Service held today at 10:00 am with Fr. Francis Katrinak officiating, at the Sinchak & Kaszowski Funeral Home. 

Inurnment followed in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.

As a sign of sympathy and condolence the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Marie’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
