Brandy "BG" Marie (Joseph) Joseph

Brandy Marie Joseph, 37, of Warren, entered into eternal life on Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Warren. 

Brandy was born on October 28, 1979 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania the daughter of Robert Stephen and Eva M. McNally Joseph and was a lifelong area resident.

Affectionately known as BG by her family and friends, Brandy was a 1997 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. 

Brandy was baptized and was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, where she was  a member of GOYA and attended Greek School.

She enjoyed the challenge of puzzle books and enjoyed playing a good game of Yahtzee.  BG was proud of her appearance always making sure that her make-up and hair were done to perfection enabling her family to crown her “The Princess” of the family.  Brandy’s greatest accomplishment in life were her children and granddaughter.  She was very proud to be their mom.

Brandy will be sadly missed by her mother, Eva (Robert Dorsey) Joseph, with whom she made her home; her Yia Yia Antonette “Toni” Graham McNally of Warren; her paternal grandmother Lorna Berey Adkins of Niles; her five children who were the love of her life Andrew M. (Brittany) Colbert, Nina M. Colbert, Marcus A. Washington, Elizabeth M. Washington and Joseph S. Washington; and a granddaughter Alieyah T. Colbert all of Warren.  She will also be missed by her siblings Gust A. Joseph of Warren, Robert M. (Treasur) Joseph of Warren, Lorna A. Joseph of Andover, Bethaney C. (Amanda) Joseph of Warren and Skylar J. Joseph of Warren; by many aunts and uncles; multiple nieces and nephews and by a host of friends.

Brandy was preceded in death by her father; her paternal grandfather Michael Joseph and her maternal grandfather James R. McNally.

A Funeral Service, with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating, will be take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High St. NE, Warren, where family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. Friday.

Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.

As a sign of sympathy and condolence, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Brandy’s name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
