Jason M. Ryan, 42, of Leavittsburg, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 14, 2016 at 12:47 p.m. in the home of his girlfriend in Lordstown following a lengthy illness with kidney disease.

Jason was born July 17, 1973 in Warren, the son of Paul E. and Renee E. (Zmuda) Ryan and attended LaBrae High School.

Jason has a passion for painting cars and was the founder of Jay’s Custom Auto.  He enjoyed RC racing with his father and enjoyed and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.  In the summer months, Jason enjoyed going to garage sales with Melissa.

Jason attended Grace Fellowship in Niles.

Jason is survived by his mother Renee E. (Zmuda) Ryan of Leavittsburg; his companion and best friend Melissa A. Binion and her son Chase Carter of Lordstown; two sisters Michelle K. Caddiell of Warren and Sandra E. (Mark Kopasz) Milano of Delaware, Ohio; two uncles Ted (Sonja) Zmuda of Leavittsburg and Tracy (Julie) Cramer of Orwell; nieces and nephews Anthony, Marcus, Maya, Amaris and Malia Caddiell, Christina, Maria and Emma Milano and Jakub Kopasz; cousins Gregg Zmuda, Bethany Stout and Ted Zmuda; by a host of friends especially his close friends who were like his second parents Dewey and Nancy Gray of Champion who he referred to as Papa Dew and Mama Dew.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Ryan on October 14, 2015, Dewey Gray “Papa Dew”; maternal grandparents Theodore Zmuda and Katherine and Pap Clawson; paternal grandparents Edward and Thelma Ryan and cousin T.C. Cramer.

Calling hours will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 3:15 p.m. with Pastor Roy Mack of Grace Fellowship officiating.

Entombment will take place at a later date in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Jason’s name may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
