Helen M (Jacobs) Newmiller
November 11, 1926 ~ October 14, 2015 (age 88) 88 Years OldHelen M. Newmiller, 88, of Warren, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 12:28 p.m. in St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Born November 11, 1926 in Beverdale, Pennsylvanie, Helen was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Sherosky) Jacobs and came to this area as a small child.
Helen was a 1945 graduate of Leavittsburg High School.
Before retiring in 1980, Helen worked at Valu King on Parkman Road as a deli manager and later was the alteration/seamstress at Wolkoffs Menswear in Downtown Warren. She and Harold then moved to Florida where they spent 13 years together. Helen was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish-SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Warren.
Helen will be remembered by her four children Harold L. (Virginia) Newmiller Jr. of Warren, James G. (Connie) Newmiller of Webster, NY, Kenneth C. (Lynn) Newmiller of Warren, and Barbara J. (Barry) Vingle of Warren; eight grandchildren: Bob, Sr. (Tamala), Todd (Maureen), Craig and Kenneth Jr. (Alicia) Newmiller, Justin (Julie) and Aaron Vingle, Belinda (Mickey) Beechy and Cassie (Christian) Roberts; fifteen great grandchildren: Rob, Jr., Dannielle, Paige, George, Amber, Autumn, Aiden and Natalie Newmiller, Olivia and Logan McMasters, Payson Vingle, Connor, Chase and Carson Roberts and Lucy Newmiller; and four great great grandchildren: Carter and Jason Bowman, Abrianna and Austin Newmiller.
Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Harold L. Newmiller, Sr. on June 4, 2002, an infant daughter Karen Marie Newmiller; five brothers and two sisters.
Calling hours will take place at the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m., with an Order of Christian Burial Service immediately following at 4:00 p.m. with Fr. John Lody officiating.
A caring cremation will take place with inurnment in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s name to the Alzhiemer’s Association of Greater Northeast Ohio.
