Elizabeth "Betty" L (Bohatch) Seman

Elizabeth “Betty” L. Seman, 90, of Niles, and formerly of Warren, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. in Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles under the care of Hospice.

Betty was born April 11, 1926 in Carpentertown, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Karabin) Bohatch and was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

A homemaker, Betty was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish-SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Warren and a former member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Betty is survived by three daughters Cynthia (Mark) Holko of Pickerington, OH; Maribeth (Mark) Ruth of McCordsville, IN; and Denise (Keith) Hackman of Schwenksville, PA; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death on May 2, 1998 by her husband of 49 years Anthony Seman whom she married on May 8, 1948.  She was also preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Graveside services will take place on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, 800 Block Buchert Road, Pottstown, PA with Deacon George Harmansky of St. Aloysius officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley.
