Arthur L. Sech, 72, of Howland, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:55 p.m. in Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown following a four month illness.

Arthur was born on October 29, 1943 in Warren the son of the late Louis and Anne (Begalla) Sech and attended Warren City Schools.

A graduate of Riverside Military Academy in Georgia, Art worked for Copperweld Steel Co. before retiring in 1999 from the Packard Electric Company as a laborer.

Arthur was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Warren, the Warren Slovak Club and Warren Moose Lodge.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling.  Art was a family man and very much enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Art is survived by his wife of 35 years the former Marie E. Fedarko whom he married on September 20, 1980; a stepson Daniel (Joan) Nobbs of Columbus; a daughter Kelly (James) Bullock of Bazetta; two sisters Beverly Foxall of Howland and Barbara (James) Harp of Arizonia; an uncle Russell Pitts of New Mexico; grandchildren Jeffrey (Bridgett) Brainard, Cody (Hayden) Nobbs and Taylor Nobbs; great grandchildren Emma and Nathan Brainard and Cohen Nobbs; sisters-in-laws Pat Zumerling of Champion and Donna (Bob) Zahler of Howland and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Art was preceded in death by a sister Rosemary Konicky.

A Christian Burial Service with Fr. Bernard R. Schmalzried officiating, was offered Friday, April 29, 2016 in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home.  Inurnment followed in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.

As a sign of sympathy and condolence the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Arthur’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
