Alice Marie (D'Amico) Nastal

Alice Marie Nastal, 94, of Howland Township, passed away at 7:58 a.m. Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Alice was born on June 30, 1920 in Warren, the only child of the late Samuel and Lucy (Bender) D’Amico and was a 1939 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

A homemaker, Alice was an avid bowler and enjoyed doing ceramics.

She was of the catholic faith and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Warren.

Alice was married on February 10, 1940 to Frank A. Nastal and they were married for 74 years until his passing on October 29, 2014.

Alice is survived by her daughter Linda (Lonnie) Reed of Howland; her special caregivers: grandson Joseph Reed, granddaughter Becky (Chris) Padovan, great granddaughter Lindsay Padovan and friend, Catie Cordy.  Alice is also survived by another grandson Frank Reed and two other great grandchildren Brendan and Kaitie Padovan; and a cousin Loretta Germano of Warren.

Besides her parents and husband, Frank, Alice was preceded in death by an infant son David Nastal.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
